All three smartphones here are improved versions of their predecessors. While all three offer new features and better looks, they also come with well defined characteristics that set the three apart from each other. The Galaxy S5 is the reliable one that ticks most requirements but is let down by its processor and plasticky looks. The One (M8) looks stunning, has all the hardware specs but the innovative Duo camera fails to impress. The Xperia Z2 is not yet out in the market but early reviews suggest it is not much of an upgrade over the Xperia Z1.
